New place

I have moved out from living with my sister to living on my own again and am setting up my new place, buying couches and dishes and everything I left behind. I'm ready to be sorta domestic and settled for a time while getting through school, two years and I'll be a social worker, among other things that I do

nomadic life didn't have an irresistible appeal? congrats on the new pad. always the threshold of a new beginning. nearly always.

it was irresistible, but I've already signed up for two years of school, I do want to do social work and I think it's important to "have something to fall back on." or at least that's what I keep telling myself when I just want to take off with a backpack and a tent, give up my fixed address in exchange for wandering. I'll probably do that eventually, maybe when school's done. I think if I don't get school done now I'll never go back. maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing.
I slept in my new apartment even when my bed was still in my old one because I love the feeling of new a beginning.

Your old place was nice. What area of the city is your new place in?

do you mean the old one on Wolseley? or the one before it, on preston? I'm on maryland now, just north of westminster. I can't leave this area, I love it.
