I am hereby volunteering to put as much time and energy into this as is needed/I can manage.

After putting in a certain amount of time doing Trans 101, I'm starting to think that cis privilege education should happen even before the basic TG definitions; there are some good checklists out there that were eye-opening for me as a trans person (who's so used to dealing with this shit that often I forget that not everyone faces this stuff), so I can only imagine that they'd be REALLY educational for cissexuals with no background in TG issues... And if you're interested, I could ask Rosa if she can put you in touch with anyone who might be a useful resource.

As an aside, following his conversation with Matt yesterday, apparently Minister Rondeau wants to talk to me about that raving transphobe at the Mis. and subsequent follow-up. Rumour has it that Mr. Rondeau is not pleased. (In the two months he's been the Minister of Health, he's already met with two trans community reps, so this is shaping up to be a major issue for him.)
