[This is all Jackie's fault.]I have much to understand with these languages, nothing is like what I am used to hearing. Though, none is more confusing then words that hold two very different meanings, but they are still the same word ( Read more... )

who needs buttonhooks, beast master, more weird things, interesting words, time on my hands, the puppy is curious, new experiances, humans are so...strange, city of man, i can speak!, jackie-san, learning english, numbers pffft we don't need no stinking

Too many.

In fact, every language has words that can mean multiple things depending on context. In Japanese even a written character can mean multiple things.

I have not tried to write Japanese as of yet. I have seen these characters, they are similar to my own homes writing.

How can one character mean many things?

By the way it is read. The system of Japanese writing known as Kanji can have the characters "read" different ways and so have different meanings.

So each of those symbols they can be different words? How do you know which word to use for one?
