On a regular basis, I work on my details.  I fall in love with them; for instance, I can't help but use internetspeak, especially when discussing non-children's books, I wear old lady sunglasses because I can put them over my glasses and that's just made of awesome, and I'm always wearing something purple.  I'm quirky, cute, whatever.  I just keep

I started thinking about this after I watched your short film. I was especially entranced by one detail, how the female character had permanent bedhead, hair strewn everywhere, pillow affixed to her head. Did this mean that she could never 'wake up,' or was she always viewing the world in such a tender, early morning sort of way? It doesn't matter, but it made me think, which is the point of creating, is it not?
