Your future with men isn't doomed! It just means that you must find a new muse, one that will be thoroughly vetted and tested to make sure that they are heterosexual, and will be as equally hot (if not hotter!) than the original.
Perhaps he is going through a period of experimentation and is confused? Now I sound like my relatives (Catholic) spewing bullshit on homosexuality.
