Sadly I dont have an example of verse poetry. I was wondering where and when you got to see this play? Is it still being performed today? It sounds interesting, I mean I love the actor from Conor Gas but he is on that show now and wouldnt be balancing theater as well, unless he is Superman and can spin the world backwards and forwards whenever he feels so. So I dont think I would go see it unless he was still performing in it. Not that I need a name to see a play, but I perfer one. Keep up the posts, I dont want to talk to myself.

Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of seeing the play performed, but I did read it. Also unfortunate is that Eric Peterson no longer performs the character of Billy Bishop. I think by the mid-80's the original prodution of Billy Bishop Goes to War had ended. Since then it had been performed by many other actors, but I am not sure if it is currently being performed anywhere nearby. I would like to see it someday though, perhaps if you are interested, you could try googling it and see if anything come up about performances in our area.

Thanks for responding to my posts, I also hate talking to myself.

Janice, I also, have no examples of verse poetry to share. However, that play sounds really interesting and I plan on reading it as soon as I can find the time. Excellent post by the way.
