There will always be a Delilah for a Daeron - particularly if this one is moody. And so she'll come, pause, look at him a moment, and come sit next to him in silence, her head on his shoulder.

Just giving warmth.

He leans his head on hers, and sighs, a little. "You don't have to be with me if you would sooner not be tainted with my melancholy."

She shakes her head, turns to kiss his cheek. "You wouldn't taint me if you tried." And taking a breath, she reaches to twine her fingers with his. "Come with me?"

"--of course," he says, a bit surprised, but squeezes her hand. "Are we going walking?"
