i'm kind of that way too with the music i like...and yeah it's a little selfish but i think it's just the nature of it all...like when i discover a relatively-unknown band and start getting into them and then out of nowhere everyone else is listening to them, i feel like i should get some credit or something. and what's weird is that whenever i turn somebody onto a band that i really like, i don't feel that way at all...cuz it feels like i actually am getting some credit for it.

right on! i actually turned down free tickets to the killers cuz of how much they sold out and i didn't want to be there with hundreds of little teens just admiring how hott Brandon Flowers is.
and guster needs to stop being as famous....
