what kind(s) did you end up liking? I'm a big fan of whiskey but i have to admit ignorance of scotch.

the Macallan's 30 was great, but still find it hard justifying the price of it.

the Highland Park 18 was also very nice, and think at some point I might pick up a bottle of it when I can afford it. I'm still fairly ignorat to allot of scotch still but I'm learning.

Apparently I picked well, a little too well. But god damn Macallan makes a tasty scotch.
