On Wednesday I had my audition for Warner Brothers for a role of Mundungus Fletcher in the newest Harry Potter film, and this morning I heard from the casting director. I was told that they liked what he saw and they asked me to come in again today for a call-back, so that sounds hopeful. We'll see how that goes. Besides that, I have another ( Read more... )

NO, oh no no no. Not that. No, not that.

So.

You didn't watch the program on Wednesday?

No. No. I was busy getting re-hydrated.

Do I want to know?

Probably not. It's a nasty program, anyway. I don't even know why I watch it. All the stars want is some privacy, but they act so catty and bitchy when they're told to go away. Damn, reminds me of Rose.

A little bird told me you, Kilroy and Lauren are returning to NYC?

Is that a joke or I know! Though I'd say I'm the bottom of the bottom of the barrel. But as long as the barrel is wine, I feel I'm good.

Besides the general stress of selling myself for a role? Actually, I'm alright.

[Private to David]

Elisa and I are back together. I don't know if she mentioned this to you yet, or not.

Macbeth's my favorite. I'm sure you'll be just find. And break a leg as they say. They do still say that right?

Yes, they still say that. And they still say 'That Scottish Play'. Thank you. Getting a call back shows they're interested. I think they want me to do a video conference with the director, David Yates, in London.

I told you about that bit I used to do with Erin on my old BBC show, Much Ado? The Macbeth skits?

What are you doing tonight?

Good to know some things will never change. I was around back then you know, but those memories are kind of fuzzy. I'll keep my fingers crossed and all of that for you.

Oh yeah, I remember that. You'll be marvelous.

Watching Sarah Jane and Doctor Who, but other then that, not a thing. And I can always tape it.

Well, Much Ado was never syndicated in America, but I was told some Canadian public channels showed it. The show made a bit of a comeback when it was brought out on DVD, a few years back.

You'd make one hell of a Lady M.

Oh yeah, that's on! I'm very happy to see you didn't write, 'I'm working'. Would you like to watch it together, and then have dinner, after?

Macbeth. Seriously.

Oh yes. I played the role of Malcolm, then. I think the part of King Lear would suit you much better. Or Dogberry.

I half expected you in the part of Lady Macbeth.

It's been known to happen before. Obviously you have never seen Much Ado. I was regularly called upon to dress in drag.
