feeling so old

I went out last night with carnivalnights to my friend's band's show at the Silver Dollar room.. phew, I must be getting older. I had a really great time and I saw a lot of people I had not seen in a while.. which was awesome and I'm really glad I got to talk to a few of them.. but yeah, after 4 hours of pounding music, my poor head could not take it any more. I think our hearing actually gets worse when we're older which would seem to logically make us have fewer headaches from noise... but I know that when I'm away from loud noise that it bothers me as well. I used to go to concerts like once a week and it didn't bother me then :P

I used to go as often as you did and yeah.. i can't handle it as often any more. Although I still like quieter pubs and coffee shops a lot. :)

I'd do it again.. sometimes you end up discovering real gems amongst all the bands that suck.
