Sorry for the unruly delay, again :/ Enjoy tomorrow's episode!

Whoa, hey, whoa there, Office Tally raters and your 5.58/10, this was not one of the worst episodes of all time. It was not even the worst of the season so far. Did you not read the title? Did you not see the baby?
rainbowstevie It was nice to see Jim and Pam's families again, but OMG, Daddy Pine, what happened to your hair?! Have you been filming a movie about mountain men? Jesus, your son was just in Details magazine posing against a car in leather pants. Pull yourself together here and stop tarnishing the family name.
fairandbright There is a deleted scene in which Michael has to be repeatedly kicked out of and denied a family photo op. The point being, time with Jim & Pam's family got cut so that we could watch more of Michael and Andy running off to Mexico. SOMETIMES, WHICH IS TO SAY OFTEN, I HATE YOUR PRIORITIES.
rainbowstevie Wait, they just picked the godparents from Mommy and Me? That is super stupid. You don't know those people at all. Plus, they already have a kid, so they're going to be pretty busy raising the one that biologically belongs to them, they might not have room for Cece, which is a name, still, that I think only the woman from The Nanny should have.
cashewdani The Office was pretty adorable. STOP THAT BLONDE LADY, SHE STOLE MY BABY (and the scones). That was pretty much the highlight of the ep for me. Well, that and Andy's bowtie.
firthgal I'm really glad I'm not one of those people who can tell babies apart, or the lack of continuity would have bothered me.
rainbowstevie And that's it so far this season! It's definitely feeling better than season 6 did to me. :)
fairandbright 7.08 Viewing Party
"Just say 'copies'. Why do you have to bring cats into it?" Seriously, why doesn't Angela have more screen time? She is a fun size Snickers bar with one-liners as her nougat center (TWSS?).
swayinisdancin DARRYL BAMF PHILBIN. I absolutely adore what his character has become. I feel like he's this awesome ghost that just wanders in and out of random episodes, drops the best line of the night, and then vanishes.
swayinisdancin Also, I love how the show completely nailed Glee fans. Kelly was basically my entire f-list during her talking head (well, she was me, too. I mean, does anyone watch Glee and not complain about it? I love the dang show but if you read my thoughts on it you'd think I wanted to become a Scranton Strangler copycat).
firthgal I'm fairly certain all of Kelly's lines were real quotes from "Glee" message boards.
swayinisdancin Andy: that was SO DISGUSTING, OMG, EW. I don't care how crappy you feel, you DO NOT throw up on other people's beds. Show, you've done enough testing of my gag reflex with the cold open that involved everyone throwing up. Can we stop with that now? I shouldn't have to watch a TV show that is not a horror movie through my fingers.
bredalot Andy's crush on Erin is quickly descending from cute, schoolboy charm to sad and a teensy bit pathetic. Hasn't every episode this season had Andy come to the realization that Erin is with Gabe? Usually what follows is some pulling up of boot straps and beginning to move on. So...that can happen any time. Really. Find some girl named Jaren Philopello and begin the painful rebound process.
swayinisdancin Erin and Michael's relationship is totally messed up, but also adorable. She needs a father, he wants a child: it works. Weird, inappropriate working relationship, but then the father/child interaction is one that I love on other shows, so I'm not sure how much I can complain about that.
bredalot The Office just melted my heart. OMG, MICHAEL AND ERIN, THEY ARE THE CUTEST. And now I see why I've always shipped them (pseudo-incest ships are thebest). I'm sorry, but I still think that they were made for each other. But now that Gabe exists, I guess I am cool with Gabe being her manlover and Michael being her father figure. I so love that she just wanted to mashup her two favorite guys. GAYMIKE.

firthgal was the only person who I could find with a response, y'all are being treated to the whole entry of a poster who is always consistently awesome :)
The Office! I am so very happy that someone finally pointed out to Michael how crappy Ryan is to him. As much as I love how devoted Michael is to Ryan, it kind of hurts my heart when Ryan so shamelessly takes advantage of Michael's unconditional love. But you know what? This ep gave us one of those rare glimpses of Michael where he is actually more aware of things than everyone else is. Where he actually thinks things through and follows his heart. Where he can read people better than anyone else can. He handled the Ryan situation in the most noble and intelligent way possible. He still showed Ryan love even when he knew that Ryan didn't deserve that love, and he knew how to get the end result from Ryan that he wanted. This is why I love Michael. This is why it pains me when I see people tearing that character apart. He just... he has a good heart, and he's capable at the most unexpected times. Yeah, he's a selfish, offensive, clueless idiot most of the time, but when he stops trying so hard, when he actually pays attention to what's going on around him, he's quite an admirable fellow. I just love him so much.
Also, this ep proved that I am Stanley. Awhile back I took that "Which Office mate are you?" quiz thingy and it said that I was Stanley, but I have never so firmly believed that result until Stanley said that he wants to live in the top of a lighthouse ALONE that can shoot into outerspace where he can be away from humanity forever. THIS IS MY DREAM, TOO, STANLEY THE MANLY. Only, you know, it's because I find social interaction to be nerve-wracking, while Stanley just finds it tedious.
