EVERYONE LIVING IN THE S.E.E.S. DORMS

I have an idea!

Basically, I want the dorms to get possessed/haunted for a few days! And not possessed or haunted in a ha-ha-funny way, but in some serious heart-attack causing Silent Hill/House of Leaves/Dionaea House style shit.

I am 1000% for this. Especially Dionaea House style where there's a room that eats people and then sends them back out as zombie-like things.

OH YAY

So, like, the first couple of hours, a stain can appear on the wall!

Shortly after that, the stain... starts looking like a face.

And then a few hours later, it looks exactly like a face.

And then it turns into a face :)

I'm thinking complete defenselessness concerning "otherworldly" powers, conveniently explained by "the bad magic of the dorms is blocking the other magic."

Mostly, I just don't want anyone to find an easy solution? THIS WILL BE FLEXIBLE

If it's too much of a problem to have him be de-powered, this is open to discussion. I don't want to make any character hard to play, after all.

okay I HAS QUESTION.

Rena's abilities aren't magical in nature but are a biological thing -- and that taking her core from her would kill her immediately and turn her into the godmode bossfight.

...and yet I am tempted to go YAY BOSS FIGHT. IT'LL BE LIKE TARTARUS.

Boss fights are cool if you're up for it.

But if you want to work around that, let us discuss! The only thing I am strongly opposed to is people in the dorms of the duration of this event having powers that will allow them to escape and deal with things without being too worried.

Maybe we can say... the dorms' response to power being used is to get nastier? Allowing for characters to make an IC decision to abstain?

If we go for this, it might be better if she doesn't get caught inside ... if they lack powers?

Or there's some means to getting them back.

Or SOMETHING.

You could say that she has her core and the vital functions still work, but for whatever reason, the weapon functions aren't. So they're keeping her alive, but she can't materialize the weapons, or augment her abilities. It'd be the same as us still having our Personas but still being unable to evoke them.
