hey, not lookin for sympathy or anything, but I don't have a job anymore. It was all over soda syrup and carbonated water. Failure to pay for soda refils, yep. I owe the bastards $353.60. wtf. thats absolutely ridiculous. what a stupid thing to fire a good, experienced, longterm employee for.

yep. Debbie had had atleast 7 or 8 years on me. I believe she said she was going into her 10th year, I'd be going into my 4th. As far as I know, we're the only one's to go. They considered us both to be dishonest, and failed to comply with company policies. In reality, we were both honest. We fessed up to it, goes to show that others that were mentioned in the interview still have jobs....sooooooo. concludes that they lied their way out of it.

I'd definatly be better off, it's not the lack of a job that upsets me, it's the emotional ties you have, friendships etc you make. And it was a job, which are hard to come by. I did look a little today.

you're not the only one who's chains are rattled over this. trust me. it does suck, but as I said, it's kinda nice not having the burden temporarilly. I had been looking to take some time off anyway (with vacation pay of course. grrs)

thanks, I'll keep looking. I might go put in to be a waitress with a friend at Village Inn. They don't make much, but on good nights the tips are killer.

There is no union, however they want to get into Bashas'. They've already filed charges aganst them.

We couldn't even eat the food that was gonna get chucked. I brought up a good argument over all this, Circle K let's their employees have all the fountain drinks they want free, as long as they have their own cups. When I was looking into QuikTrip, under their benefits, it said employees get free drinks or coffee they want. I don't understand why they'd be so damn greedy over soda syrup and carbonated water. Anywho. Waiting on a few callbacks, gonna probably put into wal-mart when I go pick up some storage bins. lol and you're not raging on me :P
