Mohinder was in his office, finishing off the filing his notes for the semester. He'd sorted through several, puzzling out his handwriting as he went.

That completed - well, mostly - Mohinder allowed his attention to drift back to his coffee, poking a little dubiously at the cheerfully added marshmellows.

Mohinder had got to his office early, not awake enough that the rooftop horses garnered more of a reaction than thankful relief that they weren't full-size. Mohinder wasn't cold when he arrived at his office. Not at all. Just nostalgic for the summers of his home. The scarf and coat he was hunched up in may have given something of a mistaken impression.

It was a slightly more unwrapped Mohinder who was browsing travel sites on his laptop. After all, the next break in the school year wasn't far off.

The projector standing in the centre of Mohinder's desk whirred slightly as it directed light at the back wall. It blinked a light at the laptop, flirting a response to the data transfer ( Read more... )

Mohinder had opened up the office with the intention of checking his class notes and his email. Instead he found a package on his desk, stamped and marked from New York, the contents - journal editions - wrapped in old newspapers.

Wrong, interesting, and huh... Mohinder highlightered a paragraph and continued to scrawl notes in the margins.

Mohinder had a few notes to look over for his next class. Sometimes he wished the Danger Shop had a manual, searching the internet for help on it was one of them.

That, and the memory of the weekend, was why he was distracted easily into reading this.
