[Ema is having a very normal September day. Well, as normal as it gets when strange communities that sent everyone to Hogwarts last week could be, anyway. But! She got a worldhop, as usual, and she has tea, as usual, and she has a way to England's house, as almost usual. And she won't say she was worried about him, because she said it a lot and besides, he's all right now. His house is bigger than last time she saw it. Maybe it's really smaller. Schrodinger's house. But it's together, and not in pieces, and everything seems so much brighter than before.

It's a nice day. She knocks on the front door and rocks back and forth on her feet until someone answers.]

[For a minute he thinks it might be Sealand or America, and he considers not answering it. Then he remembers that Sealand and America usually don't bother knocking. So this is something else odd, since he wasn't expecting anyone today.

The day's about exceeded its limit for oddness when he opens the door to find Ema standing there.]

Ema?!

[Considering it's been 70 years since he last saw her in person, he thinks he's allowed to be surprised.]

[She waves a little sheepishly at first. She hasn't seen him in a little while, either. He was at war, which made visiting his house kind of really difficult and dangerous. And he's the same, she thinks. A little. He still looks like England, anyway. Seems like him. Only he seems shocked, and maybe he should sit down, and there's a lot of little ideas in her head. She needs a pen to sort them out. But the biggest one is that, if he hasn't seen her in seventy years, and that is a very long time, then she should do something about it. But what?]

[Luckily, all that thinking came about ten seconds after she put the tea on the ground and hugged him.]

I'm so glad you're back, Arthur!

[Until the thoughts catch back up. But then it's too late, and really, Mr. Kirkland always seemed like he could use more hugs in general. And all the other nations, too.]

[If Arthur was surprised before, the sudden hug offered an extra helping of surprise to go along with it. He steps backwards a little in surprise, and for a moment he's not quite sure how to react - either to the hug or the statement or both. But then he gingerly hugs her back after a moment longer and clears his throat a little embarrassedly after a while.]
