Is anyone alive out there?

It's been ... months. Literally months. And not the "oh just one or two, everything is still the same" but the "omg it will soon be a year if I don't get my butt in gear" kind of months. How's it been? Is everyone still here? Is everyone moved over to something else? What is happening

I haven't seen anything regarding Merlin Big bang. You can get in touch with the mod at aftercamlann, they hosted the big bang last year.

Hiya! I've been hoping someone will be hosting a bigbang for Merlin this year, too. I've never participated in it, only greedily consumed all the fics after they were posted, so I didn't realize that sign-ups should be happening soon if the fest is a go. I'm going to be so heartbroken if there's no bigbang this year!

Reading them is the best part of the big bang - that's for sure. It will be sad, because the Merlin fandom always has the best community that surrounds bigbangs. Hopefully there will be one this year. I messaged the mods to see if they will be doing it again this year.

I talked to people on chat and they say there's gonna be another bb, but I can't be 100% because I haven't talked to the mods directly. I only know I'd do it if another round was announced.

* reading very little Merlin fanfic
* out of touch with 100% of Merlin fandom
* reading primarily Teen Wolf fic on AO3
* posting primarily short RL updates on FB for RL non-fandom friends
* dropped off of LiveJournal for a number of months
* returning to LJ at least to read
* trying to decide whether my LJ feed would look better or worse if I unsubscribed to the 50,000000000 Merlin fandom LJ pages and removed them from my feed.

So ... I bit like me recently. lol. I haven't really been involved in anything Merlin fandom related since ... May? Actually, to be fair, it's probably, realistically, been a year. I read primarily fan fiction set post-Captain America: TWS - which got me so addicted it's insane. Apparently I have a thing for amnesiac super soldiers. Who knew? :)

I actually had a moment of sadness when I signed on for the first time in forever, because the two pages of my feed were all Supernatural themed - from the few pages I followed WAY back when I first got livejournal. I had a moment to think "where'd everyone go?"

I think it's smart to update your list based on interests. It's normal to fall in and out of fandoms, and when you're out of a fandom, you don't need to have 50000 posts about something you don't really care about anymore. Whatever you feel is right.
