If I thought about it too much, I think it would make me crazy. So I try not to think about how time isn't passing back home and I won't remember any of this there and... yeah, I need to stop thinking about it.

And yet he's got a niggling enough worry that nobody here should sleep out in the open where they could be mugged or something that he's definitely grabbing his shoes and heading toward the carousel now. ]

The mid-evening air doesn't have enough of a chill to worry about it, but there's enough of a hint that someone might realize that Oz is correct: Vincent shouldn't be sleeping out there. His body slides and turns, arm wrapped around the book that hides his notes. Although there are multiple voices, both in the distance and through the little device that lays on the ground, he only stirs at the sound, the call of sleep holds him-or rather, the chain that he's bound to keeps him under that hold, a mouse in its appearance, though it's currently hidden ( ... )
