OOC notes
» Morgan is not based in Morgan Le Fay of the Morte D'Arthur. For this character, the earliest version is used where she is Arthur's half-sister and healer, one of the enchantresses who accompained the Pendragon in his last trip. This means she is based on Geoffrey of Monmouth and Chrétien de Troyes.
Basic summary; Daughter of Igraine and Gorlois, fostered and sent to a nunnery, then she is taught healing, reading, writing, and astrology. Merlin teaches her magic. Afterwards, she leaves this home to Camelot where she eventually becomes the lover of Guiomar, a cousin of Guinevere who doesn't see this match kindly. She ends the relatioship, basically pissing off someone who shouldn't. Arthur does nothing to defend her and this makes Morgan just as angry. She spends some time trying to expose the love affair of the queen (the bloody hypocrite) but fails and leaves, creating the Valley of No Return, a virtual trap. Eventually, she forgives her brother if only because men are owned by their wives, it seems. She never marries nor has children. Finally, she is one of the healers who takes Arthur to Avalon to be treated. Her connection to Avalon makes her usually referred as one of the nine sorceresses of Avalon.
