awesome tut! but my variations can only increase colours, not decrease

sorry for asking again, but where do i put that green layer? cos when i put the layer after the top screen layer (which i increased the blue once already), its different:

You put the green layer in the right place! except, sorry i forgot to mention this, after adding that green layer you need to toggle with the contrast button (on your second and first screened layers), which will make the icon go back to being clearer. I hope that helps!
I personally don't believe that this step affects icons that much, i just like doing it so i do it. As long as you get the saturation ideas and the exclusion ideas the icon will still be almost the same. :)
