Millie tentatively knocked on the office door. She'd handwavily set up this appointment, but found that the idea of meeting the two men in their office made her rather nervous.

Mr. Croup stood and opened the door for her.

"Ahhh, young miss, we were expecting you," he said.

"Mr. Croup, Mr. Vandemar," Millie said politely. "It is good to see you again."

"And it is good to see you," Mr. Croup said, ushering her in and closing the door. "Are you ready for this fine interview?"
