Books!

I have a $50 GC for chapters indigo books that I've been holding on to for quite some time.  I want to get knitting books!!  Any recommendations out there from my fellow knitters?

Here's some titles I'm considering:

Knitting without tears  by Elizabeth Zimmerman.     Classic literature.

Color Style by Pam Allen and Ann Budd.  I want to learn/master ( Read more... )

As far as I can make out, people hold her as the GURU of knitting.

I've got Knitting Without Tears, and it's fairly classic (and charmingly conversational, too... they don't call her the Opinionated Knitter for nothing!)

I enjoy Fitted Knits but be warned, it does have a bunch of errata. Apparently the latest edition (4th edition) has the errors corrected.

aha! thanks for the warning. I found Fitted knits at a local library, I think I may check it out in person first. Custom knits is winning that race.
