Vancouver on the Olympics

Neil and I decided to go and walk around downtown Vancouver, today. We took the skytrain down to the Waterfront to check out the Olympic Cauldron and then we walked up to check out the Leonardo DaVinci exhibit at the Art Gallery. The exhibit was great, but crowded. I took refuge on the second floor with my favorite E.J. Hughes and Emily Carr

Yes I'm glad I went, don't get me wrong, but I am neither an Olympic enthusiast, nor am I good with big crowds. So it was not my comfort zone.

Ooh! I did manage to do some knitting on the skytrain. so that was good. I was so glad to get a seat both ways.
