Congrats on the weight loss and the (coming) new bathroom! I would loooooooooove to dig into my kitchen like that. It's not seriously outdated but the countertops are as cheap as can be and the lighting is really really basic. One day maybe!
I got my license as soon as I could, starting with a permit at age 15, but I drive less and less as I get older. Working from home, I just don't *need* to go anywhere most the time and the days I do, we go together so I can easily go months and monthssssssssssss without going out on my own. I find it remarkably easy to do without it, to be honest. I guess it helps that I'm not a casual shopper i.e. don't need to go everywhere around town all the time. One trip to the grocery store every 3-4 weeks, hit the Target up once every 5-6 months and I'm fine. I have about a 30 minute 'shelf life' for shopping before I'm totally over it and want to leave. /snort
Thanks :) It shouldn't be too expensive to just replace your counters and lighting. so you're lucky in that sense!
I also got my learner's license at 15 and drivers license at 16. Thank god for that! since then, they have started the graduated licensing program in B.C., which takes much longer and more testing, and more money. I rarely drove for like 14 years from 16 to 30. So when it was time for me to get a car, I had a perfect driving record and qualified for the best insurance rate. lol.
Congrats on the weight loss! I was doing really well last year, then we had a friend crash with us for three months and it all went down the drain. Trying to get back on the horse, though! I feel so much better when I'm exercising regularly. Also I think you should go for it with the hair! A month ago, I went from about shoulder length to a pixie. The boyfriend loves it, and it's so easy to take care of! :)
