so uhhhh. I. Fail hard at Yumi. I apped her, in truth, because I wanted to app Ayaka. I went 'hmmm, I'd love to play Ayaka, but Ayaka is so on crack I think I should app a more normal character first to get used to camp again!' So I did. I apped about the most normal character in the book. Don't get me wrong--I love Yumi. Her threads are cute and slow and fitting for a Marimite character. When I do manage to get her out, I like her.
But I'm always worried that other people don't like her, and that I don't get her out enough. When I'm not playing her immediately at this very moment, her existence in my character list kind of weighs on me a little... Not to mention that her connections are relatively few and she's in a state of perpetual emo being here without her onee-sama. I mean, again, I know that's my fault for not getting her out enough, but ehhhhh. Basically I've had player emo for Yumi for about forever. I don't really want to drop her, especially when I have canonmates. But if I'm going to keep her, I'm going to have to either play her more or be a LOT more zen about her status in the background.

I love Negima. It is not my main fandom by far, but I love the series. And I love Ayaka. Even more than I love Ayaka, I love playing Ayaka. I can't imagine why nobody apped her before me, but I thank my lucky stars nobody did every time I have an epic thread with her because man, do I love playing Ayaka. Obviously, I have practically zero player emo for her, because I just have fun and take her a lot less seriously than my other characters. I kind of always expect people to crit me on her because I do think less about her, but uh. Nope, it's working so far! So I apologize to anyone whose dream it also was to play Ayaka at CFUD, but you can pry her from my cold dead fingers.

Playing Kinon is. Interesting. Gurren-Lagann is a super popular canon, not to mention the rest of the cast in camp is totally amazing and amazing is not a trait I naturally possess and oh man how did I get in. Kinon herself is pretty minor, and by my observation I think she is the default character to hate on (like, she is shunnnned even by the Rossiu fangirls most of the time). I, personally, really like thinking about and playing Kinon and it kinda embarrasses me how much I like her. She's amazingly easy to play for me, too, especially because she doesn't need lots of deep connections, because she can go and be 8| at just about anyone. So she's really not in danger of getting dropped anytime soon, because I love her too much... I just need to work on being awesome enough 8|b

My-HiME is my most favoritest anime ever. Pretty much everyone knows this, or if you don't, you do now. I am a total whore for the series. It is the one series you could enable me to app practically anyone from, because I know the canon so well and love the characters so much. So that's partly why even though I fail at history, and even though Midori breaks a good deal of my apping patterns, I apped her! I've only just settled into feeling comfortable with her. So I'm doing all right... but she's still too new to say anything. o/
