Firekeeper is sitting on the steps of the Mansion in human form, looking sore and very unhappy. Not sad, just sulking. And watching the woods with a scowl. She did not like any part of that encounter last night, and she especially didn't like being beaten. That just smarts.

Anita sees Firekeeper, and just... sits next to her.

Pissed off FK is not a good sign, and she's more than willing to offer silent companionship.

Pack is pack.

Firekeeper scowls. "There are bad things in the forest."

Anita just looks at FK a moment.

"Er." A pause. "What happened?"

Firekeeper scowls more. "They are not wolves."

Sugar and Sophie are just about to step out...

Sugar will stop, and say, "Firekeeper?" Gently.

Firekeeper looks up, scowling. "H'lo, Sugar," she says, a touch sullenly.

Sugar sits, next to Firekeeper, and Sophie sits on the stairs below.

"You look angry, Firekeeper. Is there something the matter?"

"Bad things," she says, "In the woods."

Mabon curls up around her.

[ofthewildwolves]

She leans back into him, taking solace in his warmth. There are bad wolves in the woods.

They smell stinking.

They do. I tried to chase them off. She wilts a little. Because she didn't.
