On my way to half price books. To buy more books on birds. There is going to be some serious bird watching going on this summer. And I mean business. There is also a book on the history of the symbolism of the american flag that I did not buy last time, and now I'm kicking myself because of it. I love journal, the stories, & the pictures you post. I never got much into birds but my Dad had a book called "The world of Birds" which is rather good with information & really pretty. I had a a parakeet that I named Little foot & some parrots but I've always been more of a dog/cat person.

Bird watching must be a lot of fun!

Little Foot had his cage close to the fridge & sadly one day my maid that I had then opened the fridge & he stuck his head inside & that was the end of Little Foot. Pretty traumatizing experience for a Child I'll tell you.
