Ed had about a seventh of a second after he heard the door to his cabin slam open to clear his bed of papers before Tomo got to them.
"BANZAI~~!!"
He didn't make it in time.
Ed palmed his forehead and watched dozens of papers flutter though the air after Tomo's world class cannon ball onto his bed sent them airborn.
"Haha, that was great!" Tomo laughed, rolling onto his back until her head was propped on one of Ed's legs. One of the papers glided gently onto her face and she grabbed it, holding it up and out of his easy reach before he could snatch it back from her. "Hey Ed, next time let's do it with feathers! Or Jell-O! What's this?"
"What's it look like?" Ed asked, already having given up. He hadn't planned on letting her find out about this at all, much less before anything came of it. But she'd caught him red handed, with the answers from Sano's 'survey' all

This time the paper she was holding was waved at him, "Jeez, that doesn't sound good. If you came up with some super sneaky scheme and didn't even tell me about it! C'mon, we're supposed to be closer than that!"
Ed sighed and scratched at the base of his braid, absently debating distracting Tomo. It was never that hard to do, really.
"Tell me~ I won't really be mad, you'll just owe me one! 'Cause there are some really weird questions you got here. Like the one about how far you think the 'no sex' rule lets you go, and how far this guy would try and take it anyway! You gotta admit, that's pretty weird, you hate it when people talk to you about this kinda stuff!"
Probably, Ed thought, now would be a good time to introduce her to Slippy. He hadn't yet because he wasn't sure how long a living frog made out of chocolate could survive around Tomo. But he didn't really think she'd hurt him, and that would definitely take her mind of the papers long enough to get them out of her sight

Another while past, Tomo going through paper after paper and slowly marking very nearly every Japanese male off The List for varying reasons. But it wasn't until she'd actually written out the list and crossed out every name that she finally let out an exasperated sigh and crashed back onto the bed. "Maaan, I give up. You've gotta be lying or something, Ed. The only person it could be is Sano, but I know you wouldn't set up Sano with someone."
For what was amazingly only the second time since Tomo had crashed into his cabin, Ed palmed his forehead. "Why wouldn't I?!"
"No way!" And despite having been completely boneless with exhaustion only a second ago, Tomo was up in a flash, gripping the lapels of Ed's coat pleadingly. "Ed! You wouldn't, right? You're kidding, right?! I mean, I know I haven't really done anything yet. Okay, but you wouldn't set him up with someone else! You can't! Eeeed~!"
Groaning, Ed carefully pried her fingers out of his coat. She was smart, really. Sometimes. He was sure of it.

Some psychotic part of me wants to do an AMV to that song with Il Palazzo (and Kabapu as Satan) but the rest of me remembers that I PROMISED MYSELF I'D NEVER WORK WITH VIDEO AGAIN. That and I don't think he moves enough to actually fill the little musical part in the middle.
