(If this sems a little disjointed, it's because I made the mistake of trying to do something at work, and this took me the better part of two hours to write.  No, really.)

That was a good song, thanks for sharing it. We can't achieve a better world if we can't imagine it. So music, writing, and other such media are important to help people believe in a future that is better than today.

Artists and visionaries are the key I believe. We need a new Renaissance period and to say no to all the BS going on in the world. We need to stop playing this political game that always seems to end in wars.

Why if we are so civilized aren't we at least doing contests of skill or strength with champions at this point? Do we not have ways available to us to avoid moving directly from talks to violence? Can't we somehow invest in a new paradigm, a new way of thinking?
