1.) Because I care, no matter who you are, or what our relationship might be, when you're in need you know I'm going to do everything I can to see you through. It doesn't matter who you are - whether you is my wife or the man who abused me since I was 16 years old... I care, I love you just because you're human

That's a pretty good reason to love yourself; and one I know that is extremely hard to maintain at times. :D

You should be proud of yourself for having the strength to value who and what you are. It took me til my 30s to decide that loving myself wasn't something I should settle for but was the most important thing in and of itself.
