When all of the real work was done, I went into the kennel to unfold newspapers. When puppies tear up their newspaper bedding, it must be replaced. I like to take the bundles of newspaper-unusable newspaper donated to us and unfold them on top of the cage by the door, right in the middle, again and again. There are so many newspapers. I assure you that you have nothing wrong with you. You're not alone; people are really becoming more and more numerous and faceless. I've been keeping track of such for a long time now, but it's so hard to keep count of them all. At first, I was beginning to think that everyone was actually the same person, like Meg Ryan in Joe vs. the Volcano. And they make you feel guilty and inadequate, because you don't know their names, but I could swear they're nameless. For instance, that dothead with the eyepatch, the only thing that distinguishes him from anyone else in my head is his eyepatch. Women are especially faceless.
