Hell yes my friend, that is incredible news! I found myself in a similar situation only the problem was being around no one who was real, and only interested in you because of the power they thought you had (or didn't have). I had to ask myself if I loved music enough to put up with it. Apparently, I do love music that much cause I decided to come home and make music on my own terms instead of quickly growing bitter towards it.

Congratulations buddy, I wish we could come and visit you, but it seems you will be done before we could.

It's very up in the air.
There's a good chance I could wind up out here long-term,
but a few factors have to line up favorably first.

Not exactly-
the Kuro is sadly back in Venice with the rest of my stuff.
The NY job is a temp job for now, and they're putting me up in a furnished apartment,
which means I only brought what I could fit on the plane.

So my radiant television is currently in use by the guy I subleased my apartment to...
and he doesn't even know how incredible it is!
It's definitely not ideal, especially since the TV here is a crappy 27" CRT,
but I didn't have any other workable options :'-(
