Would you be using some of the 'accepted' meanings for the Major Arcana (which aren't necessarily personalities since they're representative of spiritual guideance); or would you create a whole new set of meanings based upon the images in the cards? It also depends which deck you're using, since there are over 400 decks available and they vary greatly in imagery.

I'm not opposed to using the tarot as a game, there are lots of games that can be played with a deck, and some are quite fun and silly. The Tarot did originally I believe exist as a deck for playing games, and originated before the common playing card deck that we know and love today.

Needs more work.

of course it needs more work, hence the term rough idea. I was planning to use accepted texts as references to developing the personalities.
