hi, I'm new here, I read the play and liked it so much. I wish I could see Shun on stage one day. I love the fact that he loves to act on stage, he seems to truly love the theater. His father was (is?) a stage director but he directed operas, am I wrong?

Yes you are right ^_^, his father is a director of opera and even concerts, he often worked in particular with Seiji Ozawa.
Probably Shun's love for theater derives from his father, and also from his mother (a former ballet dancer), that led him to watch the work of his father and also to work in them.
If I'm not mistaken his very first role was playing the son of Madame Butterfly when he was four years old XDD

Oh, I didn't know that his mother was a ballet dancer. Also didn't know his first role was the son of Mme. Butterfly! I would love to see him in a play, when I read RED - bought in on Amazon.com on Kindle - I thought it would be a wonderful way to see Shun, just two actors, and it seems to be a very intimist (?) story. Tetsushi Tanaka seems to be a great actor too, but I had only seen him in "Last Friends", so far. Sorry about my bad english, not my first language ^^
