You don't know me (I'm Ms. Random CSSSA '03 contact) but St. John's is an awesome school, and I admire their curriculum very much. Any details you put up about them will be read with much fascination by me. Just FYI.

Nope, I go to Stanford, but I certainly looked at St. John's during the whole application process. I actually participated in Stanford's Structured Liberal Education program, which seems similar to St. John's -- I spent my freshman year reading the "Great Works" of both western and non-western civilization... it was an opt-in program, for about me and 90 other crazy mofos. All 90 of us lived together in a dorm... many mind-blowing, late-night, possible chemically-influenced intellectual discussions.

The program is over now, and I miss it. I envy the fact that you get 4 years of that!
