2. er, they say to wait six months, i waited like.... twoish. rule of thumb, if it hurts or irritates you or feels "raw" to move it around, DON'T, it will get infected. if it's really comfortable, then go for it, just make sure you don't wear cheap jewlery, and CLEAN IT.
