I literally feel hatred for Denny's cooks

I hate all the Denny's cooks I've worked with. They are all arrogant and act like they are the best cooks in the world. They act like they are so generous and gracious for getting the servers things they are supposed to get us. When they make a mistake they often are plagued with an attitude when asked to fix it. sounds like they are jurks there for a paycheck....one step up from dishwashers. I feel entitled to say that having been a Denny's cook. (the only real talent is egg flipping here).
Taking flack from the customer is your job, taking it from them isn't. If they need to retreve something from the back, yes, it is an inconvince, but part of their job. (it does break the rythem of doing half a dozen orders, but that's why they have more than one cook back there.)
The more impersonal you can keep it..."I need______" in the same tone as "order up", the more you can move onto your next task without feeling bad.
Are you close enough to some of the other waitresses to develop some personal jokes between you? Humor can go a long way in dealing with stress and assholes.

yeah, I basically try to talk to the cooks as little as humanly possible.
