firstly i must congradulate you on your title. it made me laugh.

not because i am a democrat or anything [haha] but i was surprised at how poorly cheney did during the debates. it seemed like he gave up half way through or something. he looked very old and tired and sometimes i did notice some really heavy breathing and i thought he was going to have a heart attack. i tihnk edwards did pretty well, he was very charming and sweet and i think he pounced on many of the accusations quite well. i thought he did what kerry still needs to work on; he decided to stop being polite and go for it.

after when i was listening to the reactions on msnbc i was seriously surprised and i was wondering if they had just watched the same debate that i had. even if i was a republican i would have admitted that cheney did not preform well and i thought that was pretty obvious. however, most of the polls are saying edwards won, so i don't know what's up with that.

i agree that edwards was being too personal by bringing up cheney's lesbian daughter. although he was trying to make a point, it was still hitting too close to home.

i'm not really sure though what you meant about how cheney was kissing edwards' ass. i thought it was very uncalled for how he told edwards that he had never seen him at any meetings and had never even MET him before, especially because this has been proven otherwise.

well compared to all the "truth stretching" edwards has done, this misstep by cheney shouldn't really be a big deal. and by "kissing edwards' ass," i just meant that cheney seemed really defensive and seemed to be really worried about offending edwards when edwards himself was not being at all cordial.
