My kitties do that too. :] Once in awhile a neighbors kitty comes over to our window and talks to them. Then Brooklyn goes over and hissies at the kitty and chases it away and Roxy is sad. Ha. :]
Just make sure he never gets outside because once he has a taste of what it's like out there he'll escape whenever he can. :/
