The boy I go on dates with that spoons me went to Australia and brought me back a stuffed animal Echidna. It is basically like a hedgehog with a big long snouty nose, and I don't want to let go of it ever. When we were laying in bed before he left for London, he rolled over and looked at me and asked me if I would be his valentine

Oh my gosh i feel like i have been totally out of it. I totally forgot that you were going to have chest surgery in February. But i remember now knowing about it.

lellyfunt love and let us know the date when you can, so i can set aside some time to think about you with good energies. i know they probably know very well what they're doing, them M.D. kids, but i want to focus a little energy upon it. you are a brave soldier soul, and perhaps you have to not get excited about it as part of the process of processing it, is my thinking. i know you know somewhere that you can't berate yourself for how you're feeling rather than what you think you should feel. well, maybe everyone somewhere knows that, but...i say know it! ok. uh. repetitive advice at 2:40am is silly.

It's going to be on February 6th, but we're getting there on the 5th for a consultation. Thank you so much for the good thoughts - they'll be really helpful and needed. :) Heart.

LJ keeps me up on some of the intricacies of the person that I pretty much never talk to anymore because our lives have gone in somewhat different directions but that happens and it's ok. But that's what LJ's for :)

EEEEeeeeeeeeeeee good luck with surgery. I know you'll be so happy once it's over.

Thanks! I actually really don't expect it to change very much other than the fact that I have breasts. And if I can't get short-term disability coverage, the chances of which are really low, I will probably actually be in a wicked bad mood during my entire recovery and afterward when I have to work double what I usually do to make up that money. Haha.

But no, I am excited to have no chest. Kind of. I think.
