it is hard to believe there is strength in survival. people talk to me about "quality of life" as a medical concern. it sounds foreign. there is no option for quality, there have been no decisions made with "quality of life" as a goal upon which to improve. this will help you, they say. and i take it. and it does. or it doesn't. i never notice ( Read more... )

Ugh ugh. I had a year like that. I'm doing better at the moment, but we still don't know what it was or why it was happening, or if it'll come back. Doctors are not so into the holistic stuff. Not to be the guy who knows everything, but have you looked into acupuncture at all? I don't know if it's an option for you, or if you've tried it, but I've heard good things at least pain-management wise. There may be more that a good acupuncturist could do for you, i don't know.

I also have had very early bedtimes a lot and do not like getting teased. F that noise.

acupuncture is something i've definitely thought about. it kind of depends on what this next round of doctors visits and specialists have to say...but thank you for the suggestion. it definitely helps to hear about things that have worked positively.
