well last night it didn't work exactly as it did here. The server is a Windows 2003 server that can you can connect to w/ smb or afp. The problem was that in the script it connected but when you enter the user/pass to connectto the domain it says there was a problem with the name. I believe it was the domain that was effing it up ( Read more... )

Hey:

smb://DOMAIN;user@COMPUTER/share

That's how I connect to authenticate with smb.

hmm i tried something similar w/ afp and the user/pass in the line. not this exactly... the weird thing is that when i use smb in the code it just says there was an error.

strange right?

i'll try that one, can you try apf in that script in place of smb and see if it works?
