Today was a weird day. Already in a weird mood from spending the past week immersed in drug-related media; watched Trainspotting last week, been reading the book of the same name the past week, which I'm midway through (more than that as of today, actually), and last night watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas when I got home from work. basically, i love the days you have described. and i also love when you read and then all of a sudden its like a million hours has passed. reading does cause the world to stop for you.

and yay today is the par-tay and its gonne be awe-some.

lets dance, put on your red shoes and dance the blues. let's dance the song they're playing on the radio.

I happen to love the movie Trainspotting. I've seen it many times, although I've never read the book. I always hate reading the book after I've seen the movie, although I enjoy the opposite. The music in that film is wonderful-Lou Reed and Iggy Pop are fabulous. I've always wanted to drink Sangria in the park because of "perfect day".

hehe, what I actually did was something in between - I watched the movie while I was halfway through the book. Usually I agree that seeing the movie after rather than before is best, but in the case of this book, it made me understand better what the frack was going on. As well as what was really happening versus being hallucinated. good times.
