i've never been in so much pain. i'm doubting if going down to the beach was even worth it. the backs of my legs are extremely sunburnt. no matter what other part of my body is sunburnt, the pain is drowned out by my throbbing legs. i can't extend my legs. i can't stop crying, that's how bad it hurts. i keep smearing them with cooling sprays and ( Read more... )

I've had 3rd degree sunburn twice now (because my skin is waaaay sensitive). The first time I had to get a shot of..something..in my back. It was pretty bad. It was all blistered, too. But the second time was the worst because, like you, I got it on ALL of my legs, starting at the thigh. It blistered all over my shins, which made it impossible to walk or even stand still without it burning like hell. It was like that for at least 2 weeks, but it eventually started to go away. If you get blisters, you should keep it wrapped in gauze with ointment or benzocaine. It definitely helps with the healing process.
