it is sunday afternoon. i am absentmindedly watching the wnba playoffs. i'm sitting on my futon, in my hawthorne apartment. a month ago, i thought that i'd be getting ready to move from this place right around now. instead, i'm buckling down. as originally planned, i'll probably be at this apartment until this spring

Yep, I'm in Australia and at the current moment I'm a bit sick with something that's been traveling around our apartment complex. Other than that though, it's super exciting.

I need to travel out west. The "mountains" here are nothing compared to yours.
