http://twewy.wikia.com/wiki/Joshua [ Personality ] :
What’s prominent about Joshua’s personality is that he’s a snotty brat. He doesn't like doing heavy legwork unless it’s absolutely necessary; preferably, he enjoys others doing such duties for him. He also loves teasing people by twisting words, but at the same time he can twist words so bad that he can hurt someone quite badly with them. He has an air of arrogance around him, and it isn’t entirely unjustifiable. Joshua is confident in everything he does, and doesn’t normally second-guess himself. He’s powerful even if he neither looks nor acts like it.
However, beneath all of the arrogance is an extremely intelligent and wise character. He’s perceptive and aware of the people around him. Living for as long as he has, Joshua has seen many types of people, from the bad to the good. Yet he has seen more people with bad qualities than he has good qualities, and not many of them change when he grants them second life. As a result, he has a cynical attitude toward people and their ability to change. But when he sees Neku change for the better, Joshua starts to feel hope that the people of Shibuya can change.
Joshua is not the most honest person anyone will ever meet. At best, he tells partial truths, but for the most part he lies. He’s convincing as an actor and liar, and it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking. Joshua’s signs are subtle, and the only person who can really read him is Sanae Hanekoma because of the bond they share. He appears to be indifferent to others and their pain. Yet once someone manages to worm their way into his heart, Joshua will care, but he hides it deep within himself.
Hanekoma has also noted once before to Neku that he is really a lonely person deep down. Joshua doesn’t have anything in the way of friendship, other than his tie with Hanekoma. As he is the Composer of Shibuya, he isn’t permitted to leave the hidden base on the other side of the Shibuya River. Not to mention he will more likely than not outlive anyone he considers a friend, and his personality tends to keep people away from him. Hanekoma also notes in a Secret Report that Josh had looked sad as he watched Neku reunite with his friends, most likely because he cannot join them.
He can be manipulative, and likes to play games with everyone. It doesn’t matter who it is, but Joshua does come off as someone who treats everything like a game. Though true to a certain extent, he has an underlying maturity in him. Joshua sees life and death as two different games, and doesn’t normally bother with the game of life. In death, he doesn’t just treat it as a game, but also as a chance for people to discover what’s truly important.
It’s hard to take Joshua by surprise as despite the laidback attitude, he’s a cautious individual. He has to be because of his position, and he doesn’t want anyone to know about the Producer’s existence. He is also constantly surrounded by people who do their jobs, but have motives underneath that. Joshua has to remain cautious because of those hidden agendas, the best example being Sho Minamimoto’s attempt to assassinate him. He has rarely seen someone express kindness just for the sake of being kind.
Joshua is also unbiased and prefers to be in the shades of grey. He judges people with fairness, and leaves out as much bias as he can. His actions can be questionable at best, and they sometimes make him seem like a selfish character. However, Joshua takes responsibility for all of what he does, even if the motive isn’t quite clear. He doesn’t care what people think of him as he knows exactly what he did, and has calculated the consequences of his actions.
There are times in which he can be a downright jerk, but this is a more calculated side of him. Though normally subtle, he understands that there are times he needs to be blunt and forthright. Sometimes, it’s to push someone to see the bigger picture or to force the truth out from the dark and into the light. The best example of the latter is during Neku and Joshua’s final interrogation of a Reaper band to reveal who had stolen their mic.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
As the Composer, Joshua is a very powerful person. He is able to create Pacts without permission from the Player. He creates and maintains the rules of the Reaper’s Game, and has all Reapers under his thumb. Joshua’s abilities in battle are also described as immense; however he doesn’t always use his abilities. A weakness in this regard is that he doesn’t like exerting himself unless there’s an absolute need to do so.
He’s a font of knowledge, and has no problem with learning new things. On the flip side, if he wants to reveal information or not all depends on if he feels like sharing.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
*Since he is the Composer, Josh will eventually become an Angel.
*You don’t mess with his proxy. Ever. Seriously.
*Joshua has no problems cross-dressing or forcing others to cross-dress.
*He loves a challenge of wits and intellect.
*Josh loves Shibuya, he really does.
*Every city has a rhythm, a particular music it dances to. Joshua can hear/feel it since he’s the Composer. For the most part, people aren’t aware of a city’s ‘song’ until they enter the UG.
*His cell phone can call down random things to fall on someone. Usually it’s something small to medium sized.
*He can also levitate at a decent height. While levitating, he can call down beams of light instead of random things you usually find in a city.
*Josh’s cell phone is just the neatest thing ever. He can use the camera to take a photo of the past, but that only works three times a day. The camera can also move someone from one place over to the other side and stun them for a brief amount of time.

[Joshua gives the SFC a semi-thoughtful look as he turns on its video function.]
I’ve come to the conclusion that if Vatheon is a type of Atlantis, and is protected by a barrier, then Atlantis is a fishbowl as well. That, or it’s in ruins and there’s no possible way it could exist after so many centuries have past~
[He shrugs nonchalantly, seemingly having no problem with that.]
Oh, well~! I don’t think we’ll ever find out, now.
[Then the silver-haired boy taps his chin before adding an afterthought.]
By the way…Neku, dear? You are prohibited from going near any and all frying pans. Can’t have you getting taken down by a rogue skillet again, now, can we~?
[And with a cheerful smile he ends the feed.]
