not to get all up in your junk, but anyone who won't be your friend or changes the way they treat you because you break up with someone is not worth having as a friend. you're an amazing person and anyone who is going to judge on such a trivial thing isn't worth your time. not because you're better than them (you are but don't tell them i told you that), but because anyone who doesn't like you for ANY reason would have to be crazy. do what makes you happy because you're too young to stay with someone because of "what if's" and high school drama. (we all are.) your friends are your friends because of who you are, not because of who you're dating, and if they are, then they werent your friends to begin with.
but no matter what you decide, jesus is always a good guy to have around, and he's got your back.....i do too....but in that non-biblical sense.
So, I know you hate confrontations, but have you talked to him about him doing these things in public? I actually saw Andrew this morning (brunch with shane at applebees), and the first thing he did was talk about you. This kid digs you like a big hole, and I think if you voiced your concern about it, he would cut that stuff out in a second. That was the devil's advocate part...here's the Jessica-friend part- If you are unhappy with the relationship, and see no future, end it. If you do not end it now, then nothing good can come of it. In fact, it will probably only end worse.
Hope this helps, call me if you need to talk, or just want some quality time.
She said that she's communicated her concern with him so really, that part's taken care of. Nagging him won't help. So I vote for the Jessica-friend part...but that's because i've been in similar situations.
honestly jess, pray for guidance, and trust your gut instinct. you know whether this guy is worth it.
No matter how much people like each other, personalities will clash. his need for attention may not be one of his best qualities, but it is a quality he possesses whether he likes it or not. You can't ask him to change unless he's willing to. Just take care of yourself and things will fall into place.
