I couldn't handle green walls.. You should start making more space your own.. it'll be the only way you feel more comfortable.
When I moved in with Harvie it was the same way until we moved to a new place together, which felt fresh for both of us. That was when I bought new furniture to replace his furniture.. haha. He made a crack about "Hey you don't like my stuff?" But I just said "Nothing like having new stuff!" Out with the old, in with the new. New life, new stuff...
