because there's always hope, every time you jump off that cliff, that this time will be different. sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't (the majority of the time it isn't,) but there's always that chance that it will be.
i'm glad that you took the chance, because if you hadn't, you'd have never known how it would play out. and i don't think you would like living with that on your shoulders. at least you did it...think of it that way. at least you tried.
