I'd been keeping tabs on the fact that HUMANWINE was going to be coming to Nashville with Brian Viglione (of The Dresden Dolls) as their drummer...not just any drummer...this is VIG we're talking about...the man is simply the BEST as far as beating things with sticks is concerned. So OF COURSE I wanted to see my musical hero in action, and maybe ( Read more... )

This might sound like the most random question in the world, but was it a Nine Inch Nails hoodie he was wearing? (He's worn it on pretty much every occasion I've seen him.)

But wait- you've worked with Zea Barker and Michael Pope!?!?!?!? I am SO superbly jealous right now!

Honestly, I couldn't tell. All I know is that it was a REALLY dark blue..didn't see any writing on it.

Yes! I worked (and performed) in the Ben Folds' Learn to Live With What You Are music video. I'm the first girl who says "creep". For 2 days I PAed the entire filming process. It was rad. I ate lunch and dinner with Noah Baumbach-Cook, BriAnna Olsen (who hired me), Pope, and Zea..not to mention Ben. Seriously one of the best experiences of my life.

I'll be moving up to the NE in Jan 08, and I'm hoping to hook back up with Pope and the gang to film some more projects.

Cheers!

I'm freakin' jealous right now. I'm a nerdy fan of them. I'm in a special program at my school for video (that I'm too lazy to explain cause its weird) so Michael Pope is one of my idols. I love his work. And don't get me started on Bony Lil. Gah, what I wouldn't give to meet them...

Hah, I'm a nerdy fan of theirs too. So to actually SEE them working was amazing. I'm into film and a friend of mine and myself make movies like the ones you see Pope and Zea make. So it was fun to kind of have a kinship in that. And he was like, "let me know when you move!!". So great!!

Bony Lil is the best. it makes me so happy!

Ahh that's amazing! Too bad few artists actually visit Miami :( Hopefully one day we can see the Dolls play together.

I shouldn't complain! Monday I met Ted Leo after an amazing show and he signed my shirt and gave me a sweaty hug, as well as bit my sharpie to write and take pictures. and the friday before I saw Of Montreal, which was a euphoria of craziness.

About the previous comment, it could be a Nine Inch Nails hoodie, because didn't they open for NIN once?

And you'll totally hook me up with Pope once I'm out of Miamiiii :D

Haha, it was AMAZING. Few words can actually describe it. It was so much more than meeting a great band member...it was like, meeting my inspiration. Seriously. He and Amanda have helped me so much in my creativity, that I feel like I owe them something..heh.

Argggh.
I was at the very edge of an heartattack right now when looking at the pictures because, before coming to the end, I really thought Brian had cut his hair.. Ôo
Which would have been drama to me.
Uagh. And that in the middle of the night. phew.

I'd say spelled right, but I'm no native either.. BUT as I do understand what you're saying, I won't judge you too badly. ; )
But, phew, after the first shock I can say it's nice to see pictures from him touring with Humanwine.. I think it's good for A. & B. to be separated a little while, although this of course means no concerts for the poor Europeans (and all the other ppl, except the lucky Americans and the True Colours Tour..) ...
Be strong, stand united.. aaah.. we're going to survive. xD

Agreed. I like how they both do whatever they want, it's nice to see real ARTISTS who aren't stuck up about "staying" with each other.

Ahhh, but my friend, the True Colours Tour is crazy expensive! I'd have to pay out the ass to see it! Blah. It's better to have concerts like that HW one, when it was only 10 bucks.

I hate money. :[
